Refund policy



We want you to feel confident in your Makiuri purchase. If a return is necessary, the following policy explains how returns and refunds are handled.


30-Day Return window

  • Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.

  • To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in like-new condition, and include all original packaging, accessories, cables, and manuals.

  • Proof of purchase is required.


Return authorization required

All returns require prior authorization.

Returns sent without authorization will not be accepted.


Shipping responsibility

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to a verified defect or fulfillment error by Makiuri.


Restocking fees

  • Approved returns are subject to a restocking fee based on the item returned.

  • Restocking fees can range from 0% to 25% of the product purchase price.

  • The exact fee depends on the condition of the packaging and the item itself and will be confirmed during return approval.

Restocking fees help cover inspection, testing, repackaging, and processing costs.

Items returned with missing components, damaged packaging, or signs of use may incur higher restocking fees or be deemed ineligible for a refund.


Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

  • If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@makiuri.com.

  • Include photos and a description of the issue.

If the issue is verified, Makiuri will cover return shipping and no restocking fee will apply.


A replacement or refund will be issued.


Non-Returnable items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Gift cards

  • Final sale items

If you are unsure whether a product qualifies for return, please contact us before purchasing.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To receive a different item, please complete an approved return and place a new order.


Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified of the approval status.

  • If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days, minus applicable restocking fees and original shipping charges.

Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact contact@makiuri.com.


Additional conditions

  • Returns showing signs of use may be denied.

  • Refused deliveries may incur additional fees.

  • Makiuri reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet policy requirements.
